Bringing Parents Closer to Their Child Through Education & Workshops

Our Mission and Goals

As a Reggio Emilia inspired child care centre in Singapore, we believe in engagin each child with a curriculum that is both engagin and stimulating. This helps your child learn and make greater meaning of the world. Our goal is to help children learn to be independent and to develop the skills to help them solve problems on their own.

But education doesn't just stop with the child.

We believe in helping parents develop effective parenting skills by organising parenting workshops in Singapore. These workshops will help parents learn how to connect better with their children and provide them with a warm and loving environment to grow up in.

Our Philosophy

Image of Child

Children are active and independent learners. They have their own unique and individual personality and interests.

Empowering Each Child

As educators, it is our responsibility to facilitate their growth and development by presenting them with opportunities to explore the world around them.

Learning through Discovery

Through play and interaction, our children can learn to express themselves in a variety of media.

Representing their World

Through age-appropriate planned learning experiences, we can cover a wider range of educational areas like mathematics, science, languages among many others.

History of Bambini Childcare Unique Approach

Our story began from being inspired by Loris Malaguzzi’s poem, ‘The Hundred Languages of Children’.  Over the years, we have developed a unique and eclectic approach to early childhood education.

This approach that we have coined ‘The Bambini Approach’, not only has an international influence but a local culture.

It focuses on fostering independent learning through discovery and investigation of ideas and at the same time, encouraging individual uniqueness and social cohesive learning. It celebrates each child’s abilities and creates a synergy between the school’s culture and that of the wider community.

The child is made of one hundred.
The child has
a hundred languages
a hundred hands
a hundred thoughts
a hundred ways of thinking
of playing, of speaking.

A hundred.

Always a hundred
ways of listening
of marveling, of loving
a hundred joys
for singing and understanding
a hundred worlds
to discover
a hundred worlds
to invent
a hundred worlds
to dream.

The child has
a hundred languages
(and a hundred hundred hundred more)
but they steal ninety-nine.
The school and the culture
separate the head from the body.
They tell the child:
to think without hands
to do without head
to listen and not to speak
to understand without joy
to love and to marvel
only at Easter and at Christmas.

They tell the child:
to discover the world already there
and of the hundred
they steal ninety-nine.

They tell the child:
that work and play
reality and fantasy
science and imagination
sky and earth
reason and dream
are things
that do not belong together.

And thus they tell the child
that the hundred is not there.
The child says:
No way. The hundred is there.

A Message to Parents from our Founders

Dear parents,
As the founders of Bambini Childcare, we recognised the many challenges which parents face in our busy modern society. As working parents ourselves, we can relate to the difficulty of multi-tasking and juggling the many roles both as parents and working professionals.

For this reason, we decided to set up this informative platform to reach out and help more parents, not only to connect and strengthen relationship  with their child/children but also to connect with their partners and even their professional colleagues on a more meaningful level.

After all, success at any level is greatly dependent on meaningful connection in human relationship. We hope that through this website we can help you to enhance your ability to understand as much about yourself as that of others.
Starting with individuals who are most important, your child, and extending that knowledge out to family members and other important people in your daily life.

I have graduated 2 of my kids from here and now my 3rd is starting, that says it all! It is not just a school, it is a big family. I believe my children's childhoods are so much better because of the memories made from this part of their lives. The activities the teachers bravely do with the kids are just unthinkable, they could have taken the easy way out but didn't because the hard way is so much more of an experience for the children. I admire them! And which school has the owners getting down and dirty with the kids every single day and making sure things are run the way it should rightfully be by being part of the teaching staff every single day? Bambini! Side note: the menu is the best I've seen around. Not just on paper but in practice.

Definitely a child-first approach here. Well done Bambini!
